1. Who we are

Anchor & Oak sells handcrafted full-grain leather and waxed canvas carry goods, shipped from the United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Anchor & Oak. You can reach us through the contact page.

2. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. When we accept it and take payment, a contract is formed between you and us. We may decline an order — for example if a product is out of stock, the listing shows an obvious pricing error, or payment cannot be verified. If we decline, any money taken is refunded in full.

Please check your delivery details before confirming. We are not responsible for parcels lost because of an incorrect address you supplied.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is free on UK orders over £40; smaller orders ship for £4.95, and the exact charge is shown before you confirm payment. We accept payment through the checkout services shown at checkout. Prices can change at any time, but changes never affect an order already confirmed.

4. Delivery

We ship worldwide from our UK fulfilment partner. Most UK orders arrive within 3–9 days of dispatch, and international timescales vary by destination. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full details, including what happens to unclaimed parcels, are on our Delivery & Returns page.

5. Returns and cancellation

You have 7 days from receiving your order to request a return, and you can cancel an unprocessed order for a full refund. Every return needs our authorisation before you send anything back, and refunds cover the product cost only. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are refunded or replaced in full. 6. Product descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Leather and waxed canvas are natural materials, so grain, colour and patina vary from piece to piece — these variations are a feature of the craft, not a defect. Colour on your screen may differ slightly from the product itself.

7. Intellectual property

The Anchor & Oak name, logo, site design, photography and copy are our property. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

8. Our liability to you

We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. We are not liable for business losses, and not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control — extreme weather, industrial action, customs inspections and similar events.

9. Your rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you are unhappy with an order, contact us first — we will always try to make it right.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
