Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the personal data we hold about you.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let the site remember what you do between pages — the items in your basket, for example — and they are how a site can recognise you when you come back. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called “first-party” cookies; cookies set by other companies (a payment provider or analytics service, for instance) are called “third-party” cookies.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the shop working and cannot be switched off. They remember what is in your basket, hold your session while you move between pages, and keep checkout secure. Because the site would not function without them, these are set without asking first.
Analytics
These tell us how the site is used — which pages are visited, where visitors arrive from, and where they get stuck. We use the totals to fix problems and improve the range. Analytics cookies are only set once you accept them in the consent banner.
Checkout and payment
Our cart and checkout run on our commerce platform’s infrastructure. Its session and security cookies fall into the strictly necessary category, and no card details are ever stored in a cookie or on our servers.
How long cookies stay
Some cookies are “session” cookies and disappear when you close your browser. Others are “persistent” and last from a few days up to a year — just long enough to remember a basket or a preference — then they expire on their own.
Managing your choices
When you first visit, the consent banner lets you accept or refuse the non-essential cookies, and you can change your mind at any time from the banner. Beyond that, every mainstream browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings (look for “Privacy” or “Site data”). If you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket and checkout will stop working — that is the one thing they are there for.
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or change how we use them, we will update this page. The date below always shows the current version.
